We understand you have questions. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about appointments at Dentistico. If you want to speak with someone, please feel to free to call us at +91- 9868977777 or ask your dentist or any member of team Dentistico.

Q. How much will my initial visit cost?
A. At Dentistico, our doctors and staff believe in making dental care affordable and accessible for everyone. The doctor will perform the exam and recommend a course of treatment. The patient care executive will provide pricing information and discuss payment options. Flexible payment plans are also available to make your treatment affordable. Discounts such as the free new patient appointment cannot be combined with insurance.

Q. Is the office handicapped accessible?
A. All Dentistico centres are accessible to disabled patients to make every visit as comfortable as possible. Please let us know ahead of time if you would like us to make any special arrangements for you.

Q. Can my 17-year-old bring his 6-year-old sister to their appointment?

A. All patients under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during a clinical visit.

Q. Why can't I find any prices anywhere?

A. Pricing for services and procedures varies. Once you meet your doctor and they evaluate what treatment is needed, the patient care executive can give you better information. Dentistico fees are typically average 10% lower than other providers in the market.

Q. Is the dentist in the centre registered with Dental Council?

A. Yes, all our dentists and professionals are fully licensed and registered in the states in which they practice. They provide themselves on delivering a high level of quality care.

Q. Can I schedule an appointment for a cleaning only?

A. An exam to determine your oral health is an essential first step. The hygienist will perform cleanings based on your oral health. They will quickly schedule your cleaning, allowing proper time for them to give you the attention you deserve.

Q. Are x-rays really necessary?

A. Absolutely. It is impossible to see directly between the teeth or under the gums or bone without the use of a dental radiograph. Many diseases and conditions can only be detected with the use of dental x-rays. X-rays allow dentists to detect disease and other conditions much sooner than the clinical examination alone. When problems are identified early, it's easier to resolve them and avoid more costly treatments.

Q. How do I schedule an appointment with the oral surgeon?

A. Your Dentistico office team will work with you to schedule an appointment should you need one.

Q. How do I schedule an appointment for a root canal with the endodontist?

A. Same as above.

Q. Will I need to make arrangements for pre-medication?

A. The first visit for a new patient will consist of an x-ray, an examination by the dentist, and a consultation with the patient care executive, when all your questions can be answered. There might not be any procedures on your first visit.

Q. Do you treat children?

A. Yes. Dentistico welcomes young patients from the age of three and up. It's important to start caring for your oral health early! All patients under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during a clinical visit.

Q. Are you accepting new patients?

A. Absolutely. As a new patient, your first appointment will include a comprehensive exam, x-rays and a consultation with your patient care executive. They will answer all your questions, as well as go over your suggested treatment plan, pricing options and will help you schedule any future appointments.

Q. Does your office use IV Sedation?

A. No. IV sedation is used only by an oral surgeon. Generally, the dentists will use a local anesthetic like Novocain during treatments if needed. Nitrous oxide (Laughing Gas) is also offered in some cases depending on the treatment plan.

Q. What is the difference between Novocain and IV Sedation?

A. Novocain is a local anesthetic used to numb only a particular area of the mouth. IV sedation is a conscious sedation. When used, the patient is awake and aware of their surroundings, but unable to feel or remember anything about the procedure.

Q. I'm pregnant; can I come in for a cleaning?

A. Absolutely! We will not be able to take x-rays, but welcome your visit. However, prior to your first visit, you must obtain a release form from your Obsletrician/ Gynaecologist, indicating that you can visit a dental office.

Q. I have no insurance and bad credit. Do I have any options?

A. At Dentistico your doctor and staff strive to make dental care available to everyone. Each centre offers convenient financing through CareCredit. You can apply online, over the telephone or in our office at the time of your visit. Please remember that we require two forms of identification, including one Election Commission issued photo ID, in order to set up financing.
